Leadership Transition at MET

Longueuil, June 4, 2026 - The Board of Directors of MET - Montreal Metropolitan Airport is pleased to announce the appointment of Simon-Pierre Diamond as Interim President.

Closely involved in the new terminal development project for the past three years, Mr. Diamond previously served as Vice President, Corporate and Legal Affairs, Communications and Marketing. His work in fostering dialogue with citizens and elected officials throughout the region has contributed significantly to the development of MET within a context of remarkable social acceptance. In his new role, Simon-Pierre Diamond will oversee the airport's external relations, legal affairs and strategic initiatives.

At the same time, Pier-Olivier Migneault, Vice President, Finance, Administration and Real Estate, has been appointed Interim General Manager of MET. Having been with the organization since 2024, he will be responsible for the overall management of finance, administration and human resources.

The Board would also like to take this opportunity to acknowledge the contributions of Yanic Roy over the past four years. Together with his team, he helped provide Greater Montreal with a modern, innovative airport that is integrated into its community and will facilitate the mobility of millions of travellers in the years ahead while generating significant economic benefits.
