Our mission

We’re rethinking what an airport can be — not just a transit point, but a source of pride for the community. An airport that transforms how people experience air travel and offers travellers smarter options for flying between Greater Montréal and the rest of Canada. By listening to our community, adapting to change, and anticipating the needs of tomorrow, we’re building an airport that’s innovative, future-focused, and made to last.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR TRAVELLERS

An airport that puts comfort first — only 15 kilometres from downtown Montréal, with plans for a direct shuttle to the city centre. With 25 destinations across Canada, travellers gain more opportunities to explore and connect. A sustainable, human-scale airport designed to respect its surroundings. A hub for innovation, built to evolve with the needs of tomorrow.

Gouvernance

Our governance is led by DASH-L (Développement Aéroport Saint-Hubert de Longueuil), a non-profit organization responsible for managing and developing MET — Montreal Metropolitan Airport. With a mission to foster the airport’s growth while balancing operational excellence, sustainability, and community interests, DASH-L oversees the strategic initiatives that shape MET’s future. Independent yet closely connected to regional stakeholders, DASH-L works in collaboration with industry partners, government bodies, and the local community to create an airport model that is innovative, responsible, and aligned with the evolving needs of travellers and businesses.
